HTC One X Battery Usage Details and Review

I recently got my brand new white HTC One X. I heard a lot about below average battery performance so I myself wanted to check it out. Earlier I used HTC Sensation and my battery usually lasted a full day with mild usage and full day 3G + WiFi. I wanted to test if HTC One X delivers a full day battery backup with my usual usage.
I charged my One X to 100% battery and removed the charger at 9:00 AM in the morning. Now, the question is how much it lasts? Well, I was surprised as it actually lasted more than a day. I am writing this review after 32 Hours and 25% of battery is still remaining which means it could have ran more without plugging in. Now this may be different for others as I don’t use my phone that often and it is mostly on idle. My HTC One X battery life satisfies me and I am happy with it.
Now coming to the point what actually used the battery most. I have attached screen shots which demonstrate what used the battery most. As you can see in the screenshots gallery above, 30% of battery was used by Voice calls which actually has 50 minute usage. Screen has been ON for more than an hour (1 Hour 12 minutes to be precise). This includes 32 minutes of gaming (Temple Run). Most of the day, display brightness was set to auto and in night time it was set to low.

As you can see from the graph above most of the time battery has been stable with sharp turns in between. Those turns were at the time of gaming while I played Temple Run at full brightness. Nvidia’s Tegra 3 Quad Core does deliver but clearly it drains out a lot of battery. But overall, for a quad core high end mobile device with 4.7 inch LCD 2 and a Li-Po 1800 mAh battery the results are satisfactory.
