Assassin’s Creed III Image Leaked

As seen on a recent report by Kotaku, an image of what appears to be an Assassin’s Creed III promotional art was allegedly leaked on the internet. According to sources, the image was from Best Buy’s internal employee news and was sent to Kotaku by an employee.

Judging from the image, it is highly likely that the game will be set in the American Revolution, as rumoured earlier. The lead character seems to have some obvious Native American influences, quite evident from the cow skin boots, the flatbow on his back and what appears to be a Flintlock pistol, popularly used in during the Revolution.

Ubisoft officially announced Assassin’s Creed III sometime last month, slated to be released on October 30th 2012. According to Ubisoft’s official Facebook page, a “major” announcement regarding Assassin’s Creed is on the way.
