Android 4.0 Virtuous Inquisition ICS ROM screen shots from my HTC Sensation

| February 26, 2012 | Comments (6)

Finally I decided to install ICS (Ice Cream Sandwich) on my HTC Sensation so i started looking up for a decent Android 4 ROM for HTC Sensation. There were many ROMS available but i wanted to feel the ICS without Sense so I chose Virtuous Inquisition which a custom ROM for HTC Sensation, HTC Sensation XE and HTC Evo 3D. In this ROM all the components of HTC Sense have been removed except the camera as HTC Camera was more stable. HTC Framework in this ROM has been themed to match the original ICS theme.

More Info about this ROM

I have captured some screen shots from my HTC Sensation. These include the images of home screens, browser running engadget in desktop mode, new task manager, lock screen, apps, widgets, and About *showing Android 4.0.3* .

Check out these below.

I KNOW HOW TO ROOT THE SENATION ,BUT TELL ME WHAT IS THE BEST WAY…DYING TO USE ICS ON MY SENSATION…AND THESE HTC GUYS ARE JUST MAKING PROMISES…SO HELP ME OUT…AND YEAH THE ROM WHICH U HAVE INSTALLED IS ABSOLUTELY FINE??I MEAN NO BUGS OR FREEZING?

Well, the best way depends on your software version. If your Sensation software version is below 1.50 then you can use HTC Super Tool v3 to root your sensation (it will be one click root and best method). Otherwise, you can unlock your bootloader, install clockwork recovery and flash pre-rooted HTC ROM (this is the method i followed)…..
About your other question, Virtuous Inquision is stable for general tasks but it is not bug free. There are problems and it sometimes hangs during muilti tasking. I would recommend Android Revolution ROM (ICS 4) as i am running it now and it is 100% stable.

There was no such problem for me. But now i have removed this and installed official ICS update from HTC which is much more stable.
