HTC One X and HTC One S Difference
HTC One X is an upcoming monster Android phone. It boasts the fastest processor till date on any smartphone, ie, Tegra 3 Quad Core Processor by Nvidia clocked to 1.5 Ghz. 4 Cores on a mobile device may look like a dream but it is happening and that too soon. The phone is coming in market in next 60 days. The processor launches all the apps in seconds, runs games without and lag and multitasks like a desktop.
Difference in Processor:
While HTC One X will be launched worldwide with this quad core chip, in USA HTC is releasing another variant HTC One S. The main difference between the *One X* and *One S* is that One S uses a different processor. It uses a Qualcomm’s new S4 processor that is the S4 MSM 8960 processor. The sad part is that this is not a quad core chip, though it is fast and a beast on its own but dual core instead of quad core gives gamers a disappointing feel. According to Brent Rose at Gizmodo.com, he didn’t feel much difference between normal tasks that he did on HTC One S and HTC One X but time will tell.
Difference in Design:
HTC One X has a polycarbonate whereas HTC One S has metal body. To readers metal body may look like a plus point, but actually polycarbonate is better as it super light and gives the feel of a metal. One X weighs 130g (with thickness 9.3 mm) and One S weighs 120g and is thinnest at 7.8 mm.
Difference in Screen:
The One X has the best screen which is 4.7 inch 720p HD screen with pixel density of approx 312 ppi whereas One S has a 4.3 inch 540×960 screen which is made from Gorilla glass.
Difference in storage:
HTC One X has 32 GB internal storage where as One S has 16 GB of internal storage. Both of them have no slots for memory card and memory is not expandable.
